PWWWWAAAAABBBBBLLLLLOOOOSSSSS PIIIIIICCCCCKKKKLLLLEEEESSSS, They're so Good!

For those of you who don't know, I work for a growing pickle company in my spare time (probono-sp?- for now, what can I say, I'm a nice person).

Warning though, when you are carrying Pablo's Pickles with you (which any sane person does at every moment), they are safe from no one. Don't say I didn't warn you. We found this little vicious creature trying to steal some of the coveted gourmet pickles.

Enough Said.

Missing you...

It's late and I can't stop thinking about the past. My friendships, my relationships, my pets and my extracurricular (and curricular) activities.

The olden days when friendships were abundant and relationships were complicated and I could speak to someone I love face-to-face instead of via facebook and text messages. The days when backroading and mexican food with a good friend was only a phone call away. When long days of CSI marathons were cherished amongst silent, but present friends. Days of hanging out in the comm lab until three in the morning, watching flag-football in the freezing cold, floating down the Martin trenches in the pouring rain, planning movie plots, playing "video games" and not playing "video games," secret trips to the church in the middle of the day, and so on.

I keep playing through my head the things I wish I never said and how those people I hurt or made angry or sad, whatever, would never know that I still regret it today. I often think about all the people I wish well, even those I have fallen out of touch with or have probably forgotten I even exist anymore.

But most of all, I think about the future. Where will these people be? Where will I be? Will I have made any impact on their lives? Will they ever remember anything I said to them? Did I ever say anything worth remembering (ha ha)? Will they wish me well too? Will we still speak? For most of them, probably not- but for all of them, I know I will be wishing them well and wishing we still spoke.

A little heaven on earth...

For all that have been dying to see my bedroom (Ladies only, after all, I am married), here it is... but excuse the awful camera work and poor reflection of what my room actually looks like. My camera's viewing screen is broken, so I am literally just pointing and clicking.

PS. I also believe my bedroom looks better in person ;)

The two dressers, the two candy apple green nightstands, and the green duvet set and throw pillows were all purchased at the magical land of IKEA, beside Potomac Mills in Virginia also known as 'the greatest place on earth' and 'the best place to take a road trip to if you are within a 1,000 mile radius"

Salsa Storm

It was a dark and stormy afternoon...

The couple was laying comfortably on the same couch together, curled beneath an over sized blanket they had just recently received as a wedding gift.

The ridiculously awesome woman, who shall remain nameless, had prepared a moderate snack to tie her over until the evening feast; her choice of scrumptousness? chips and salsa.

As the woman slowly picked at the delectableness, her husband-- who also shall remain nameless-- became jealous of the little amount of attention the food was taking away from him. Feeling he had to do something, anything, he reached for his wife's arm as she lifted a chip with salsa to her lips and swatted it out of her hand.

She managed to still hold the chip firmly in her hand, but she watched in horror as the salsa contents were falling to the ground, it seemed as if it was happening in slow motion, but after only a split-second, the red-goodness had hit the living room rug. Her face tightened, "why would someone do this?" she thought. She turned to her husband; her eyes locked with his. But as she looked toward him with confusion and hurt, he looked back only with malicious laughter.

"This is an unbelievable moment," the wife thought, "he meant to do it."

Still holding the chip remnants in her hand, she turned to his white shirt. "Perfect," she thought as she slammed the salsa and chip contents to his chest.

His face quickly changed from laughter to disbelief.
"Ah," she sighed while staring at the red-stained shirt and crumbs falling from his chest, "We're even now."
